Though it is only 45 minutes from the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, the rural village of Gadamba feels like it is a world away. With clusters of huts scattered along the side of a small mountain, Gadamba is a conglomerate of small communities. The rugged, hilly terrain makes the agrarian lifestyle of the people very difficult. Despite this, the people work hard to help each other and are always willing to cooperate for a common goal.
